The Idea
There are tens of thousands of private tutors across Western Australia, but we believe too few offer a service that truly justifies the cost, or that reflects the care and responsibility that comes with working with young people at such an important stage of their lives.
We want to change that. Our goal is to become Perth's go-to tutoring service: the one that goes above and beyond. Our hope is that, after meeting with us and using our service, parents feel confident their child has the support they need, not just with their schoolwork, but in their confidence and wellbeing too.
We're redefining what a private tutor is and what they do. By showing parents what tutoring can be, we aim to set the standard families expect. That means:

Specialised, planned sessions. We do not rely on the student to know what they need to work on, or even the tutor to quickly draw up a rough plan before walking in the door.

Tutors who can truly teach: not just high achievers, but people with the social and communication skills to connect with students and explain things clearly.

A dedicated admin team: here to answer your questions about schooling, universities and education, led personally by Callum.

Purpose-built tutoring software: track sessions, book extra ones, reschedule conflicting ones, pay invoices online and feel on top of it all through our partnership with TutorCruncher.
The Goal
Private Tutoring
The primary goal of CD Learning is to become the go-to private tutoring platform for parents who want to make sure their child receives the best quality service they can. We intend to continue growing with demand for our services as much as we can.
Education Services
Our passion for education extends beyond tutoring, and with the experience and knowledge we build over the years, we plan to expand into all forms of educational services for families, schools, and public services. We want to do our part to improve the state of education and learning across Western Australia.
Beyond
There is no limit to what we can achieve in the education space. With so few supporting services in Australia right now, we strongly believe that CD Learning can become the face of education in Australia in all capacities.
The Origins of CD Learning:
My private tutoring journey began in 2024, initially consisting of a single subject with a single client, alongside my work most days at Hale School’s Forrest Library in curriculum support. Through both these occupations I quickly realised the passion I had for tutoring, and client feedback showed that I was successful at getting the best out of my students. This led to an unexpected and rapid growth in clients, and by the end of the year, my calendar was overfilled with sessions for the 7 students I was teaching. In an attempt to satisfy the demand for my tutoring services, I decided to make the jump to having tutors work with me. I am so grateful for this opportunity, and the possibility of centering my life around tutoring and education is incredibly exciting for me.
